The ATI Academy Webinar Series now features two webinars, each with a slightly different focus and purpose.

First, there’s the new Education Webinars, offered exclusively by ATI nurse educators for ATI educator institutions. The webinars, which will cover a variety of topics to enhance your ability to be a strong and effective educator, are one hour long with Continuing Education (CE) credits provided.

ATI Academy also offers Training Webinars to help you better understand ATI’s products and services and the endless resources that are available to you and your students. These webinars are 30 minutes long, followed by a 30-minute Q&A.

ATI National Nurse Educator Summit

The 2011 ATI National Nurse Educator Summit is headed to Disney World!

 

Registration is now open for the second annual Summit, which will take place April 19-April 22 in Orlando, Fla., at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort, which is adjacent to the Waldorf Astoria Orlando

 

Join your colleagues/leaders in nursing and academia for three info-packed days designed to help you grow and excel in your role as nurse educator while earning CE credits. You'll have the opportunity to join discussions on the critical issues facing nursing and healthcare today, as well as share knowledge, celebrate achievement and build relationships that promote a stronger nursing industry.

This year’s Summit will feature Nancy Brinker, the founder and CEO of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Brinker, who founded the Komen Foundation after her only sister, Susan, died from breast cancer in 1980, currently serves as the World Health Organization's goodwill ambassador for cancer control. Time magazine named Brinker to its 2008 list of the 100 most influential people in the world, and President Obama honored Brinker in 2009 with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.

The Summit also will feature Barb Bancroft, speaker, author and former nurse who has provided more than 2,000 educational, humorous and motivational seminars to healthcare professionals and corporations throughout the United States. She also has held faculty positions at the University of Virginia, the University of Arkansas, Loyola University of Chicago and St. Xavier University of Chicago.

STILWELL, Kan., May 5,2010 – Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) today announced the launch of ATI MobileMentor, an application that will allow RN students to prep for their all-important nursing licensing exam anytime and anywhere via an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

ATI MobileMentor is tied to the 2010 National Council Licensure EXamination (NCLEX)-RN Test Plan, and includes alternate NCLEX question types and a specific Facebook function that will allow students to submit questions, post comments and share info with other students.

ATI MobileMentor also features:

·       More than 700 unique questions organized by NCLEX area, body function and clinical area.

·       The user’s ability to create custom quizzes by selecting from subtopics, or to generate random quizzes.

·       The user’s ability to control the number of questions, with ATI MobileMentor estimating how long the quiz will take.

·       A review function that allows the user to review previous quizzes and quiz results,broken down by subtopic.

·       A question-review browser that allows the user to review the entire collection of questions within the application without having to take a quiz.
