Catherine Cooke, RN, MSN, CEN


Catherine Cooke has a broad background in nursing, education and accreditation. She has been performing program evaluations for ACEN (formerly NLNAC), having served as the site visit chairperson, team member and the clinician on site visit teams for the past 15 years. Catherine retired from teaching at Kentucky State University, where she holds the title of Faculty Emeritus. She continues to work as a staff nurse and house supervisor at Norton Women’s and Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky. She chairs the Research Council at the Norton hospital and is the Magnet Program Director for the facility’s application for Magnet status.
