What It Is
Mentor-Guided Development is a first-of-its-kind program built to support novice nurse educators through the transition into an educator role. It pairs an 8-hour, self-paced online course with live mentoring sessions led by an expert nurse educator, giving new faculty both the foundational knowledge and the personal guidance they need to teach with confidence.
The self-paced portion covers everything from classroom management to assessment and lesson planning, with faculty earning 8 ANCC Contact Hours upon completion. The live mentoring sessions then apply that learning to each educator's real classroom, goals, and challenges.
